LOCAL TRAINING INITIATIVE COORDINATOR
The position of LTI COORDINATOR involves delivery along with a trade
tutor who is in situ at Carrick Showgrounds and coordination of
training on an established Local Training Initiative (LTI) supported
by GRETB.
The position includes managing and supporting the participants on the
LTI and ensuring participants receive the required training to acquire
QQI and Industry Certification and develop other necessary skills,
including personal development and confidence building.
The position is on a fixed term contract until **Apply on the

duration off the contract after the current course is finished, is
subject to demand for the next course.
_The success and continuation off the project will be subject to
numbers and demand for the course, Learner progression to employment
and further education. The new course is scheduled to start in June,
subject to demand._
Position is based in Carrick-on-Shannon Showground, County Roscommon.
SUITABLE CANDIDATES MUST HAVE:
* A relevant nationally recognized qualification in teaching
* Relevant qualifications in business studies
* Formal qualifications to QQI level 6 or above in Business /
Entrepreneurial Skills
* A minimum of 2 years? experience in the above
* Knowledge of QQI qualifications and modules
* The ideal candidate will have at least two years? experience of
working with economically, socially, geographically and / or
educationally disadvantaged learners
* Have a high level of general administration and organisational
skills
* Good understanding of living in Rural Ireland and the challenges
of farm viability
* Ability to lead a group and manage people.
